Tom and Natasha were married at a new venue to me, the rather stunning Stoke Park in Buckinghamshire on a glorious August day. Natasha and her family are Russian so when I heard that the speeches would each be given in two languages I was slightly nervous from an editing/technical point of view, however when I heard some of the heart-warming gold dust (technical term..) that Tom produced, they were instantly my favourite set of speeches for a while. I particularly enjoyed Tom's very personal recollection of how he rushes home from the tube station to see Natasha which really helps to paint a picture in the viewers mind of the couple's lives away from their wedding which is an invaluable storytelling tool.
It's clear that Tom works in theatre as this wedding was brimming with emotive and theatrical sentiments that it made it a really exciting one to edit. You can't beat a bit of good old fashioned romance!
