Laura and Graham were married on a beautiful day in late May at St Mary's Church in Buckden, with their reception at the jaw-dropping South Farm in Hertfordshire.
The couple each got ready in the familiarity of a family home until moving onto the church which looked beautiful inside and out, but the day really went up a notch when we arrived at South Farm. Their tag line reads 'Distinctly Different' and this really couldn't be more accurate. From the restored Romany Caravans for guests to stay overnight, to the numerous sheep and even a peacock that strolls around, everywhere you look there is something that makes you say "aww".
The wedding was perfectly suited for South Farm and as the low evening light fell and set the backdrop for some stunning visuals, the soundtrack was in no small part provided by a poignant speech and poem by Laura's father Robert. It really struck a chord with me as a parent to two beautiful girls and I must admit, I had to fight to hold back the tears as he recalled memories of himself and his little girl who had grown into a beautiful bride. It made me want to drive home and pull some large cardboard boxes out of the garage. In fact, I'm off to do just that.
Enjoy!
