Kerrie + Dan

Well I hope I don't offend any of my this years couples by saying that this was certainly my favourite wedding of the year... The reason is that it was the wedding of our good friends Kerrie & Dan. My wife has known Dan since she was at school with him at 11 years old and we've spent many an hour (usually at our kids parties) in the last few years getting to know Kerrie and you genuinely couldn't meet a nicer couple. They were married at the spectacular Rushton Hall in Northamptonshire, a bit further afield than I'd usually travel but seeing as we were invited as guests before the idea of filming the day even came up, the distance was never an issue.

As soon as Dan started his groom speech I thought "wow, this is good" and it gave me a really great voiceover to use throughout their film. I was spoiled for choice when choosing the extracts of his speech to use in their highlights and actually found it really tough to cut it down to a couple of minutes! I was tempted to include the part where he showed off his leopard print pants but... well, it didn't quite suit the feel of the film! I hope you all enjoy it!
