Ellen and Davide were married at the drop-dead gorgeous Gosfield Hall on a typically changeable August day. The day started with heavy rain threatening to take the shine off of Davide and his family's freshly cleaned collection of rather impressive cars but this soon cleared and the day was a beautiful one.
Ellen and Davide's finished film is perhaps more upbeat than the last few I have created, mainly down to Davide's very funny speech and the constant abuse from his best men on the account of his height... However, when editing the trailer I couldn't help but make the most of Davide's very subtle but touching reference to Ellen's late mother and also the crystal clear audio quality we obtained from putting discreet tie mics on the two male ceremony readers (one big advantage of having a male ceremony reading as opposed to a female - they can have their own microphone clipped onto their jacket and concealed in their pocket!)
Ellen is a teacher and the little touches like hand written notes from her pupils as well as simply the number of little ones running around made it clear that the couple both love kids. This is also highlighted when Davide gets a bit teary when referencing one day having children.
The best part of the story is one that I couldn't possibly have included in the film unless I developed a sixth sense on the day and that is that the couple are now indeed expecting their first child! A fantastic end to a beautiful story.
Enjoy!
