Parklands, Quendon Hall

Parklands, on the Essex / Hertfordshire border, is an idyllic setting for the perfect wedding venue.

It is one of only a few wedding venues in Essex that provide you with such an idyllic setting for your wedding. The 17th century mansion, set in over 100 acres of picturesque deer park, is a world apart from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Parklands really is one of the most heavenly wedding venues in Essex which is why my wife Clare and I decided to marry there in 2009. We had a fantastic day and the staff always manage to keep the hectic management behind closed doors, ensuring that all we ever saw was the calm face of our wedding planner.

In terms of filming locations, Parklands has it all. Tree lined pathways, landscaped gardens and a large bright marquee for your reception. For smaller weddings the ceremony room in the main house can be turned around for your wedding breakfast for a slightly more intimate feel without losing any of the wow factor.
