Kerry + Rob | Braxted Park

Kerry and Rob were married at the jaw-dropping Braxted Park in Witham, Essex in June 2012.

I had been looking forward to this wedding for some time as I hadn't visited Braxted Park to film a wedding video for a couple of years and I knew how fantastic the surroundings were. When the day came around the weather forecast left me feeling more than a little nervous and true to the predictions bang on cue the heavens opened just in time for the ceremony. Although rain is something we're all becoming slowly used this year, this was a bitter pill to swallow but I soon realised that we were in one of the best locations for indoor photo opportunities and all was well. It was a pleasure once again to work with Dan Casson at this wedding who remained upbeat despite the weather and captured some fantastic images.

The rain poured solidly until about 6pm when just as the top table were about to start the speeches, miraculously, the sun broke through and Kerry and Rob lept outside grinning like Cheshire cats! Somebody was smiling down on them as we were able to bust out the crane, glidecam and multiple cameras to get enough footage to fool even Hercule Poirot into believing that this wedding film was filmed in only blazing sunshine!
